Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) is the second most common form of skin cancer, originating from the squamous cells in the outer layer of the skin. This type of cancer often develops in areas frequently exposed to the sun, such as the face, ears, and hands, and may appear as a firm, red bump, a scaly patch, or an open sore that doesn’t heal.
While SCC can be more aggressive than basal cell carcinoma and has the potential to spread to other parts of the body, early detection significantly improves treatment outcomes.
At MoleAware, we offer comprehensive skin screenings to identify any concerning lesions, ensuring prompt and effective care.
